Please use the form linked here to share your news in the Flaherty monthly newsletter. We will accept newsletter submissions up until noon ET on the third Tuesday of each month.

Required

  • a photo or logo as a .jpeg that is 1 MB or less. You must label your photo with your name.

  • a live external link

  • text content (guidelines below)

  • your name and e-mail address

  • News about Flaherty Seminar & Flaherty NYC Filmmakers, Fellows, Programmers

  • Upcoming Film Series Screenings

  • Upcoming Events

  • Position Openings

  • Calls for Entries

  • A single film if it was made by a Flaherty filmmaker, Fellow, or Programmer

We DO NOT include fundraising posts. We also reserve the right to NOT list:

  • classifieds, services available, past screenings (for example, new DVD release posts are acceptable, but not general "DVD for sale" notices)

  • repeat postings in more than two consecutive newsletters

  • more than one item per person, per newsletter

  • more than six items per person or organization per calendar year

  • general information about films in production

  • media articles written without a link to the article

  • posts that do not align with the Flaherty's mission (discretion of The Flaherty)

Announcements must be 50 words or less and include relevant information such as date and time; how to purchase tickets; and a link to the venue or film's website. We reserve the right to edit for space and content but encourage including links to external sites for detailed information.
